Easter this year was kind of thrown together. We went to Mexico for a few days during Spring Break and then came home to crudy weather. We did an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday with friends which was good cause the kids needed to get out and play. Sunday we had Easter dinner at our house with my family. It was beautiful outside!!! The kids went swimming and we ate good food and then just relaxed. It was nice. Here are some photos of the egg hunt and a few other random ones that i keep forgetting to post.

Whats New??!!?

I haven't felt like posting anything new in quite awhile. I got thru spurts of being really into my blog and then not caring. Since my last post, my oldest daughter has turned 17, and then shortly thereafter i turned 37. Aah the joys of teenagers and getting old yourself. Her birthday this year was pretty simple, she went out with her friends and did i made her favorite dinner and that was about it.

For my birthday so very dear friends treated me to a lovely lunch with lots of yummy food and great conversation. Thanks GUYS!

It feels as though the months are flying by and that i dont get much accomplished. I am looking forward to the summer though. I miss bbq's with friends and swimming with the kids. Bring on the heat!!!

Back from the Dead

Ok so i left and went to Utah for a week, my first mistake! I left Las Vegas on a beautiful sunny 75 degree afternoon. I arrived a mere 6 hours later in Utah to freezing rain and snow, and inversion whatever that is. So we were trapped inside for approximately 4 days straight. This is not conducive to a healthly group of small children. Needless to say we bolted out of there bright and early on Tuesday and made a dash for home. Upon arriving in our sunny, non snow covered oasis i began to feel the effects of my recent quaratine in the petrie dish of germs that is Utah. So for all of you who have been wondering about my whereabouts this last week i have been painstakingly trying to recover my health and that of my childrens health in our humble abode.

My Little Girl

Ok so i am feeling a little nostalgic and little depressed, in less than a month my oldest is turning 17. I cant bear it!!! Where has the time gone. I have vivid memories of her childhood. Beautiful blue eyes, chubby little face and an adorable, sweet, loving attitude. Where did that kid go??? It has been replaced with beautiful blue eyes now surrounded by long mascara clad eyelashes, long dark thick hair (do i sound jealous) and a flawless teenagers body, attitude i wont even go there. She makes me crazy, we argue tons cause of course we dont see eye to eye on most things, but when it all boils down to it, i love her just as much as i did the first time i laid eyes on her all those 17 years ago. I LOVE YOU MEAGAN!

SNOW IN VEGAS?!?!?!?!

Oh how we love the snow! My kids pray for snow every year about this time, and secretly i do too. I fully expected it not to snow this year, since it has been really warm up until this last week. So on Wednesday my kids were off of school for parent teacher conferences and so we were doing some running around and about 11:30 i saw some microscopic pieces of snow floating around, so i said hey girls it's snowing!! Low and behold it would start to SERIOUSLY come down until about 10:30 that night. I cant believe the amount of snow that dumped on us. It was great, unless you had to drive anywhere in it! THAT STUNK! My kids have played in it non stop for the last few days, and enjoyed everyminute of it. We have drank tons of Hot Chocolate and eaten tons of chili, Homemad chicken noodle soup and just chilled. Here is some of the fun we had:::::::
